* 1 cup (2 sticks) butter, softened
* 1 1 2 cups sugar
* 3 eggs
* 1 cup milk
* 2 cups all-purpose flour
* 1 tsp. baking powder
* 1 tsp. baking soda
* 1 cup (8 oz.) sour cream
* 1 pkg (14 oz.) frozen, sliced strawberries, no sugar added
* 1/2 cup powdered sugar
* 2 Tbl. evaporated milk
Directions
1. In a large mixing bowl cream butter and sugar.
2. Add eggs and mix well.
3. In another bowl combine flour, baking powder and baking soda.
4. Add 1/3 of flour mix, 1/3 of milk and 1/3 of sour cream to creamed mix.
5. Continue adding until all flour, milk and sour cream are added.
6. Spray a tube pan with non-stick spray.
7. Spoon half of batter into pan (mixture will be thick)
8. Evenly place 1/2 of the strawberries over the batter.
9. Cover with remaining batter.
10. Bake 50-60 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
11. Glaze - Mix powdered sugar and evaporated milk
12. Place hot cake onto platter.
13. Fill center with remaining strawberries.
14. Drizzle with glaze.
